**Job Summary**
The Driver position at Infinity Contracting Services Corp. is responsible for the safe and timely local delivery of equipment, construction materials, and other articles of trade. In addition, the role involves loading and unloading the truck and maintaining the vehicle to ensure reliable service.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Perform visual inspections of the vehicle before and after each trip to identify any wear and tear
- Keep the vehicle clean both inside and out
- Request maintenance inspections based on the number of miles driven
- Notify the office manager of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered
- Monitor fuel levels before each trip
- Safely and efficiently handle and unload goods from the truck at designated locations
- Load and unload the truck as needed
- Ensure items are properly stacked and secured
- Transport materials from the point of origin to assigned destinations
- Maintain a clear understanding of the items being transported
- Plan delivery routes to ensure timely service
- Follow the delivery schedule closely
- Communicate traffic updates, delays, or other issues to dispatch as needed
- Maintain detailed delivery logs
- Ensure all necessary documentation is available at the time of loading
- Handle paperwork between field employees and the main office
**Qualifications and Skills**
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of two years of delivery driving experience
- Valid CDL and a clean driving record - Excellent time management skills
Salary Range: $20–$25 per hour
