As a Construction Site Supervisor> you will contribute to our team by: Being responsible for supervising our sites in a safe and efficient manner in order to minimize the risk of injury> or damage to property or utilities by:Review and become familiar with arch design drawingsDelivering project as per specifications and budget.

Develop trade lists and identify trade scopes required for each projectResearch historical and current market pricing for budget and tender updatesEnsuring that the project is built according to approved plans> specifications> drawings and applicable building codes and that high quality standards are maintained

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with the executive team> architects> consultants> employees> trade partners> and suppliers throughout the projectWorking with the teams to ensure safe work procedures are understood and followedBeing able to intervene and understand the methods used to ensure a safe> productive> and quality project.

Depending on the project size and requirements> your trade skills may be utilized.

Representing JKWG Development Inc to the public in a manner that is consistent with corporate values and goals.Leading by example.

What you will bring to the role:2 or more years of local construction experience in field supervision in Commercial> Industrial or Civil constructionHold a valid Journeyperson trade certificate or a Technical Diploma or equivalent experience in the industry.

Understanding and the ability to follow safe work procedures and lead accordingly.General construction competencies including interior fit out> renovations> demolition and new structures are an asset to this role.Work Conditions

This position is based on a standard 40hour work week. 

Suitable candidates must be available to work overtime> evenings> weekends as a project occasionally requires.
